JVIS Hosts Local Students for Manufacturing Day 2025

This week, JVIS welcomed high school students from L’Anse Creuse Pankow and Henry Ford II High School for an inside look at modern manufacturing. As part of Macomb County’s Manufacturing Week, we loved connecting with students and sharing the exciting opportunities in today’s manufacturing world.

Manufacturing Week in Macomb County, held this year from September 29 to October 3, is part of the national Manufacturing Day (MFG Day) initiative. It allows high school students to explore modern manufacturing, learn about career opportunities, and see how technology drives the production of today’s innovative products. With its high concentration of manufacturers, Macomb County extends the celebration into a week-long event, giving students ample opportunity to connect classroom learning with real-world skills.

As a host site, JVIS opened our Shelby Township facilities to give students an up-close look at our advanced technologies and the innovative processes behind automotive manufacturing. Our experts guided students through the entire design and production journey, from concept sketches to prototyping, engineering, testing, and validation, showing how ideas are transformed into tangible, high-quality products.

With the automotive industry rapidly evolving, opportunities in manufacturing have never been more exciting. We are grateful to the students from L’Anse Creuse Pankow, Henry Ford II, and all participating schools for joining us this week. We look forward to continuing to inspire the next generation and helping them envision their future careers in manufacturing.
