An interior designer had an idea that could change all that. She contacted the team at JVIS for their help manufacturing and marketing this product…and Paint Behind® was born.

It was the ultimate concept-to-consumer partnership. Susie brought her Paint Behind idea to the team at JVIS, who used their expertise, technology and vertically integrated solutions to bring her vision to life…and this groundbreaking product to market.

Design
The JVIS team of designers took Susie’s prototype and created the official Paint Behind, from the handle to the reusable paint pads. This included finding the most ergonomically appealing design for the handle — so that it would not only be comfortable to use, but it would also allow the user to use consistent pressure when painting, resulting in a more even coverage

Engineering
To ensure that they’d be using the most optimal design to produce the highest quality product, the JVIS engineering team worked with the designers to perfect the Paint Behind plan. Using a variety of tools and processes — including rapid prototyping/3-D printing, JVIS engineers made sure that the Paint Behind design was just right and ready for production.

Manufacturing
Utilizing the latest technologies and injection molding capabilities, JVIS took the final design and manufactured the Paint Behind for global distribution. All of these JVIS state-of-the-art processes combined to help maximize efficiencies and minimize production costs.

Marketing
Once the product was complete and ready for manufacturing, the JVIS design studio worked with Susie to then build the Paint Behind brand. From developing the logo and designing the packaging to creating collateral materials and producing a demonstration video — JVIS used their creative expertise to help launch this new product cross multiple marketing channels. They even designed a unique packaging solution that features the paint tray as part of the packaging.
