JVIS USA customer earns “Innovation Supplier of the Year” Award from FCA

It’s important for us to celebrate the achievements of our customers because their success is our success; we think it’s  great when one of our customers wins an award!

Every year, Fiat Chrysler Automotive announces the winner of one of the most prestigious awards in the Automotive Industry, the “Innovation Supplier of the Year” award. This year, Alpine Electronics, Inc. was the recipient, and JVIS USA is proud to have played its part in their success by being their supplier of choice for the over-head speaker enclosure known as the JK sound bar.

The new enclosure was designed with acoustics in mind and features five sealed chambers housing two, 3 ½ in full-range and two, 6 ½ inch mid-bass speakers, as well as an interior lighting chamber. This design technology offers a big improvement in sound quality to both front and rear seated passengers compared to older model sound bars.

The final product didn’t come without it’s challenges. Our engineers were able to rise to meet those challenges head-on and develop solutions. Along with our quality assurance personnel and skilled assembly technicians, JVIS was able to develop a repeatable process that produces a beautiful final assembly for our customer.

The JK sound bar is manufactured, assembled and tested at our Clinton Township location where we produce approximately 1000 units daily.
